Whether it’s talk about the latest teen pregnancy shows, child pornography, or teenagers who freely exploit sexual content about themselves on the internet, teen sexuality seems to be a debate that people all over the world can’t seem to get over. In the world of 2017, constant acknowledgement in social media†¦show more content†¦Significance of teen sexuality and sexual development Some argue that teen sexuality is based on the resources and access to sexual content that they have accessible , but is sexuality something that is taught or something that is developed naturally inside humans at all different ages and stages of life? I did a survey on students at my school , and from the research I learned that most males feel that they became sexually active after coming across pornography and other sexually related media. Female students felt as if sexuality was something that came naturally to them without prior sexual exposure. From this analysis , I came to the conclusion that human sexuality starts at adolescence. As children and teens grow and develop , the sexual parts on their body become an interest to them. They may want to know what they are there for, why they need to be covered up at all times, how should they use them, or whether or not they should be used at all. Has media influenced sex in teenagers to be experienced at a younger age, well of course it has. Peer influence plays a very large role in how teens react to sex. When this information is based upon the logic of a teenager like myself, it actually seems to be true. Most of the things in my generation revolves around chain reaction.
